Disha Shool is the inauspicious direction for travel on a given weekday, as per Vedic tradition. Starting a journey towards this direction is believed to bring obstacles. If travel in that direction is unavoidable, a simple shakun (an item eaten or carried, given above) is traditionally used to neutralise the effect. Disha Shool follows a fixed weekly pattern, so it is the same everywhere - just pick your travel day above.
