The top row — memory, planning, intellect. Well-stocked: you think in systems. Sparse: you think best on paper; write before deciding.
The middle row — feeling, intuition, spirit. Strong: you read rooms instantly. Sparse: feelings arrive late but deep; give them scheduled space.
The bottom row — execution, money, ground-work. Strong: ideas become objects. Sparse: partner with finishers; systemise delivery.
The diagonal of push. Present: you break walls others turn back from. Its shadow is stubbornness — schedule review-points.
Decision and execution arrive together. Present: fast starter-finisher. Empty: the “plan-to-act” bridge must be built by routine.
People instinctively bring you their wounds. A gift — and a boundary-lesson: help from a full cup, on your own schedule.
A change is justified only when the Chaldean name-number genuinely frictions with the Mulank–Bhagyank axis. If your name already supports you, the correct advice is: change nothing — and our report says so in writing.
A correction must stay pronounceable, respect family and legal usage, and usually means a spelling adjustment — one letter’s value — not a new name. Signature and daily usage carry the new vibration first.
Ninety days of consistent use before any legal step. Numerology recommends; it never guarantees — and anyone promising otherwise is selling, not reading.
In the Chaldean tradition the total before reduction carries its own colour. A few that matter most:
Hidden trials, higher voltage — a master vibration that demands nerve-discipline and rewards faith kept under pressure.
Change through work — wrongly feared. It is the disciplined transformer: structure turns upheaval into promotion.
The struck tower — pride invites the lesson. Rebuilt on humility, it gives uncommon insight and quiet authority.
The prince of heaven — earned sunshine. After its lessons are paid, recognition arrives and stays.
The master builder asleep — wake it with daily practicality and it constructs institutions; drift, and it merely dreams big.
Uncertainties and moods around trust — anchored by routine and honest company, it matures into rare intuition.
Grace in partnership — friendships open doors that effort alone cannot; a beloved number for public-facing names.
Your own compounds — name total, birth-day and DOB total — are computed and interpreted in the free result and, in depth, in the report.
Seven parts, 100+ computed sections, 49 cinematic plates — every life question answered — career, money, name, timing. Nothing generic, nothing guessed.

A numerology calculator by date of birth reads the two things you carry everywhere — your date of birth and your name — as numbers. The birth DAY gives your Mulank (your instinct-engine), the full date reduces to your Bhagyank (your life-direction), and your name, valued letter-by-letter on the ancient Chaldean scale, gives your Name Number — the vibration the world answers to. The digits of your birth date fill the Lo Shu grid: repeated numbers are your ready capital, missing numbers are the skills life teaches from outside. On top runs the Personal Year–Month–Day cycle that times your moves. The free calculator computes all of it with the working shown — and when you add birth time and place, it adds an astro glimpse: your Lagna, Moon sign, nakshatra and running Mahadasha.
A numerology calculator by date of birth reduces your birth date to single digits and reads what the tradition assigns to each. That is the whole mechanism, and it is worth saying plainly because most pages hide it behind mystique.
The Indian system works with two core numbers. In any numerology calculator by date of birth, your Mulank is the single digit of your birth day — born on the 21st, 2+1 gives Mulank 3. Your Bhagyank comes from the full date, every digit added and reduced. Mulank is read for how you operate day to day; Bhagyank for the longer arc.
What a numerology calculator by date of birth cannot do is predict events. There is no classical text that assigns a date to a number. What it gives is a description of tendency — and a tendency is useful precisely because it is not a prediction.
The mulank and bhagyank calculator on this page uses the Chaldean-derived Indian method, which differs from the Western one in an important way: the birth day matters more than the full date.
Each digit is assigned a planet — 1 Sun, 2 Moon, 3 Jupiter, 4 Rahu, 5 Mercury, 6 Venus, 7 Ketu, 8 Saturn, 9 Mars. This mapping is what connects numerology to astrology in the Indian tradition, and it is also why a numerology reading here talks about planets while a Western one does not.
Where Mulank and Bhagyank agree, the tradition reads a person whose instinct and long-term direction pull the same way. Where they differ — and in most charts they do — the reading describes a tension, not a fault.
The Lo Shu grid calculator inside this numerology calculator by date of birth arranges every digit of your birth date into a 3×3 square. What the grid shows is not which numbers you have, but which ones repeat and which are absent.
A missing number is read as an area that needs conscious effort rather than one that is closed. A repeated number is read as an emphasis — sometimes a strength, sometimes an excess. The grid also forms planes: three filled cells in a row describe a completed capacity.
Here is the honest part. Most people have three or four missing numbers, because a date of birth contains only eight digits and the grid has nine cells. Missing numbers are the normal case, not a defect, and any page that sells a remedy for each one is counting on you not knowing that.
A name numerology calculator converts each letter to a digit and adds them. Because the sum depends on exact spelling, Sanjay and Sanjai produce different numbers — and that is the entire basis of the name-correction industry.
The tradition does hold that a name whose number sits in harmony with the Mulank is easier to carry. What the tradition does not say is that changing your spelling changes your life. That claim is modern, it is commercial, and no classical source supports it.
This numerology calculator by date of birth computes your name number and shows the arithmetic. We will not tell you to add a letter.
If you have used a Western life path number calculator alongside a numerology calculator by date of birth, you have already met the Bhagyank — the two are the same calculation under different names. Both add the full date of birth and reduce to a single digit.
The difference is in what happens next. Western numerology keeps 11, 22 and 33 as master numbers and does not reduce them. Indian numerology usually reduces them to 2, 4 and 6, and reads the planet instead. Neither is wrong; they are different conventions, and knowing which one a page uses tells you more than the result itself.
This numerology calculator by date of birth prints both, so you can see where they agree and where they part.
Your Mulank (birth-day digit) is how you naturally act — the engine. Your Bhagyank (full date reduced) is where life keeps steering you — the road. When the two are friendly, will and destiny pull one rope; when they differ, you feel the classic “I want X but life gives Y” pattern. The report reads your exact pair — all 81 combinations behave differently — and shows where to push and where to flow.
Most apps use the Pythagorean A=1…Z=26 shortcut. Classical name-work uses the Chaldean scale, where letters carry sound-based values 1–8 and the compound total (like 37 or 29) is read before it is reduced. The same name can score differently on the two systems — which is why our receipt shows every letter’s value, the compound, and the final digit, so you can verify the mathematics yourself.
Write the digits of your birth date into the ancient 3×3 square and a pattern appears: some numbers repeat (natural capital), some are absent (skills to build). Full rows and columns form arrows of strength. None of this is fortune-telling — it is an inventory. The report turns each missing number into a concrete practice and each doubled number into a channel, with the evidence shown.
Add your birth day and month to the current year and reduce: that is your Personal Year (calendar method, January to December — declared, not mixed). Inside it run Personal Months and Days. A 1-year favours launches, a 9-year favours completion; a Personal Day 9 is for closing, not opening. The calculator shows today’s number and the week ahead; the report dates your whole year, A/B/C/D ranked.
A name change is surgery, not fashion. First the mathematics must show real friction between the name number and the birth numbers; then the correction must keep your identity pronounceable and legal-friendly; and even then it is a recommendation with a trial period, never a guarantee. The report runs the full check and — if your name already supports you — says so plainly and tells you to change nothing.
Reviewed by: Lalbabu Mandal, Vedic astrologer, 15+ years of consulting practice in Jyotish (Parashari and Jaimini systems), founder of AstroMool. Every calculation on this page is machine-computed and every interpretation follows classical rules that are cited in the report itself.
How the calculation works: planetary positions are computed with the Swiss Ephemeris using the Lahiri ayanamsa and the Whole Sign house system. From those positions the page derives your Mulank and Bhagyank and its lord, the dignity of the Sun, Saturn, Mercury and Jupiter, the Chaldean table (D10) divisional chart, your name number and your Vimshottari Dasha sequence. Nothing is templated: change the birth details and every number on the page changes with them.
Classical sources used: Brihat Parashara Hora Shastra (houses, lords, dashas), Phaladeepika (career yogas and results), Jaimini Sutras (name number and chara karakas), Brihat Jataka (planetary significations), and Vimshottari Dasha as given in Parashara.
What this page will not do: it will not name your employer, your city or your salary, and it will not give an exact date for a job, promotion or resignation. Where the chart does not decide a question, the report says “not strongly marked” instead of guessing. Astrological indications are not guarantees; professional outcomes also depend on your skills, decisions and circumstances.
Accuracy note: house-based conclusions depend on an accurate birth time. If your recorded time is materially wrong, those parts should be re-checked; planet-in-sign conclusions remain valid regardless.

Your Mulank is the single digit of your birth DAY only. Born on the 7th, Mulank is 7. Born on the 21st, 2+1 gives 3. Born on the 29th, 2+9 is 11, then 1+1 gives 2. The month and year play no part in it - that is the Bhagyank.
Add every digit of your full date of birth and reduce to one digit. For 21-07-1990: 2+1+0+7+1+9+9+0 = 29, then 2+9 = 11, then 1+1 = 2. Your Bhagyank is 2. The arithmetic is printed in the free result so you can check it.
The tradition reads the Mulank and the numbers friendly to it as favourable, and the numbers of enemy planets as needing care. But a lucky number is a preference, not a rule - no classical text says a number will change an outcome. We print which numbers the system calls friendly and leave the rest to you.
In Western numerology these are left unreduced and read as heightened versions of 2, 4 and 6. In the Indian system they are usually reduced and the planet is read instead. This calculator shows both readings, because the difference is a convention and not a finding.
Destiny number is another Western term for what the Indian system calls Bhagyank - the reduced sum of the full birth date. Some sources use destiny number for the name total instead, which is why this page names both the calculation and the result rather than the label alone.
The tradition compares Mulank and Bhagyank between two people and reads friendly, neutral and enemy planet pairs. It describes how two temperaments meet - not whether a relationship lasts. Any page that scores a relationship out of 100 from two birth dates has added a number the tradition does not contain.
No classical source says a spelling change alters your life, and we will not tell you to make one. The tradition holds that a name in harmony with the Mulank is easier to carry - which is a comfort argument, not a causal one. The name-correction business is built on the gap between those two things.
The single digit of your birth DAY: born on the 21st, 2+1 = Mulank 3. It is your instinct-engine; the calculator shows it instantly with its planet.
Add every digit of your full date of birth and reduce to one digit (keeping 11/22 note where classical). 21-07-1990 gives 29 → 11 → 2. This is your life-direction number.
Each letter of your name gets its Chaldean value (A=1, B=2 … no letter above 8), the values are summed to a compound (like 37) and reduced (37 → 1). The free result shows the letter-by-letter receipt.
Digits absent from your birth date mark abilities life supplies from outside — development areas, not defects. Each has a named practice; the free result lists yours.
Traditionally yes — master vibrations with higher voltage and higher demand. The report marks them only where your actual totals produce them, never for decoration.
Your birth day + month + the current year, reduced. It sets the year’s theme on the January–December calendar method — the calculator shows yours with this month and today’s day-number.
It can rank them: reduce the digits to one number and prefer totals friendly to your Mulank–Bhagyank set. The free result shows your friendly set; the report gives the full method with fixes.
The free result gives your five core numbers with proof, the Lo Shu grid, timing and lucky pack. The 127 page report adds your drawn kundli, the 81-row dasha calendar, Sade-Sati windows, all life-area chapters, remedies and 90+ answered questions.
